ABOUT US
Rubaga Mixed High School accommodates both Ordinary and advanced students in both sciences and arts studies, boys and girls. The school is private and registered with the Ministry of Education and Sport with UNEB centers to house both day and boarding students. The school was established fourteen years back (2004) by people with a broad mind of child development in the education sector and after school life.
The school is strategically located half a kilometer from Nateete-round about on Old Masaka road, Wabiyinja zone. You have to drive just 5 kilometers from the city center Kampala to reach Rubaga mixed high School, the center of knowledge and success. The school sits on 4 acres of land and all students conducively study, relax and experience flexibility. (MUTUNDWE PARISH, BUNNAMWAYA DIVISION).
The school has a board of directors as the proprietor. Besides that, the Parents-Teachers Association has the duty of participating in the welfare of the school through such various meeting sessions within the year around.
OUR CURRICULUM:
The school is proud to embrace the government established school curriculum activities. However, extra activities in the field of mechanical engineering and sports within and outside the classroom are fully introduced. The school’s agenda in the forthcoming four years involves transforming specific lessons like Agricultural into practicals through establishing gardens, fish farming, and mechanical engineering besides music dance and drama a wide range of sports games.
Subjects offered at Ordinary level are; English, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Agriculture, Commerce, Geography, History, Christian Religious Education, Islamic Religious Education, Fine art, Swahili, Computer studies, Luganda language and Entrepreneurship.
At Advance level, Geography, History, Christian Religious Education, Islamic Religious Education, Fine art, Swahili, Computer studies, and Entrepreneurship, Subsidiary Mathematics, Economics, Luganda and Information, general paper and communication technology subjects are taught.
The school has numerous games such as football, netball, volleyball and football for girls. On many occasions, the school wins trophies.
AND OUR FACILITIES,
Rubaga Mixed high school has all classrooms and out of classrooms amenities to ease services in all its numerous interventions like academics, sports and games. A well-stocked library, computer room and the laboratory are our pride.
A school van has been secured to facilitate school travels for activities such as seminars, field work tours and leisure.
Still, a well planned students and teachers diet and dining room motivates work. Lunch of porridge on the other side is freely provided to students.
Students hostels are established at high standard levels that are hygiene and conducive for relaxation to have a better night for a good morning.
